Mel Santa Maria took its first steps with the emergence of a swarm at Quinta do Paranho, in Santa Maria de Émeres, Valpaços, in 1995. It expanded and today is one of the products of excellence in the national market. Now, it intends to increase its presence abroad with the participation in SAGALEXPO - Sabores de Portugal (Flavors of Portugal). "SAGALEXPO is an important showcase in our international sales of organic Santa Maria honey", explained Rui Baptista, Financial Manager at MSM APICULTURA - Mel Santa Maria.
