Expojardim & Urban Garden' says goodbye to Lisbon with a big crowd
The show makes history once again on its return to the capital and launches the seeds for the next edition in the North. More than 15 thousand visitors passed through Pavilion 4 of FIL.
Over three days, 'Expojardim & Urban Garden' established itself as a reference event, receiving the attention of more than 15 thousand visitors. The last day of the fair registered more than five thousand entries, including professionals from the sector, companions and the public. A figure that summarizes the strength and notoriety of the fair as a reference event in the sector.
The Beamian system accounted for about 4233 business opportunities generated by sharing contacts between exhibitors and industry leaders. With the use of the equipment, the exhibitors raised more than 170 qualified leads.
The last day of the returned 'Expojardim & Urban Garden' to the capital city included the presentation 'Combating weeds - Reinvented', promoted by Irrimac, and the conference 'The importance of green corridors and connecting axes in the urban network', organized by the Portuguese Landscape Architects Association (APAP), which proved to be a success with the attending audience.
The contest 'Urban Sustainability Corridor - from the port to the airport', promoted by APAP - Portuguese Landscape Architects Association and Ideas Forward, culminated with the victory of the team composed by Duarte Natário, Joana Azevedo and João Coelho, who received a prize of 2300 euros, offered by the partner Horto do Campo Grande.
The teams composed by Astrid Haryati, Theresia Purnomo, Susanti Indrarasaja, Paul Sidharta and Ajie Tresnoharry (Los Angeles - USA) and the Portuguese team led by Amália Souto de Miranda, Ana Rita Gonçalves, Gabrielas Magalhães, were the second and third places, respectively, with the right to a prize.
There was also the awarding of an Internship to the project delivered by architecture students from Mexico - Paulina Manríquez, Juan Pablo Vazquez, Víctor Alonso Zamudio, Luis Enrique Romero, who now have the opportunity to travel to Portugal and accumulate a unique experience with professionals from the sector.
The 'Expojardim & Urban Garden' returns in March 2023, at Exponor, in Porto.
