Larus Design: "An initiative like Urban Garden makes it possible to make a lot of business contacts during a short period of time"
Larus Design conceives, designs and produces urban furniture, developing solutions that are inspired by the history and culture of each place, seeking to enhance its identity. It is preparing to present its solutions at the 'Urban Garden' next week. The administrator, Engineer Pedro Martins Pereira, revealed what will be highlighted in the exhibition.
To what extent is participation in the 'Urban Garden' an advantage for Larus?
An initiative such as 'Expo Jardim & Urban Garden' makes it possible to make a significant amount of business contacts during a short period of time, allowing to update the presentation of the company to prescribers and customers. At Larus, it is traditionally the moment to exhibit a number of new products, developed in response to the needs that are justified in each present time.
What are Larus' expectations for the fair?
We expect to get a significant amount of visits, although the influence of the pandemic may still be felt, reducing these expectations as a result of the precautions that have been developed and that may reduce face-to-face contacts.
Based on previous experiences at the exhibition, what is the post-event working period like?
Returning home, it is necessary to respond to the requests arising from the exhibition. The study and sending of proposals, responses to particular situations, and even the development of new equipment.
The topic of environmental impact has a prominent place today. How has Larus worked this transition?
As mentioned, new products are exposed as a response to the needs promoted by the conjuncture. We are all more willing to solve the problems posed by the misuse of the means that nature puts at our disposal. By coincidence, our motto has always been "Humanizing the Territory", so this is not a recent concern. Thus, we will present some new equipment, which intend to respect the environment and the circular economy.
