Professionals of the baking and pastry sector marked their presence in the industry's largest fair

Around five thousand visitors registered on the first day of Tecnipão & Packaging - Food Sector.

Tecnipão & Packaging - Food Sector debuted in Lisbon and conquered everyone and everything. Professionals from the baking and pastry industry responded positively to the invitation. Nearly five thousand visitors were registered at FIL, in Lisbon.

The first day of the event included an initiative promoted by ACIP - "The best "Folar" and "Pão de Ló" of Portugal. After a long tasting with a diversified jury and several prestigious names in the sector and society, the big winners in the five categories of the competition were announced.

The Lisbon City Council's Alderman for Economy and Innovation, Dr. Diogo Moura, visited the fair on behalf of the Mayor, Dr. Carlos Moedas, and was pleased with the commitment of the exhibiting companies.

"It is with great pleasure that the City Council welcomes Tecnipão in our city. It was possible to see what is our tradition and what is the importance of this area and this industry sector, but also to see innovative solutions for this extremely important market.

The 'Pastry Chef DNA 2022' contest started with great commitment from the participants, who tried to impress the judges with their desserts. The winner will be revealed this Tuesday after all the points, awarded by the jury, are added up.
