The reference fair of the natural stone sector in the Iberian Peninsula once again asserts itself for its importance and leverage in boosting business. STONE' gathered more than a hundred companies at the Exposalão Exhibition Center, in Batalha, to show that the industry is taking important steps in the field of innovation and to increase its relevance to the national economy.
On the third day of the event, ASSIMAGRA received the Secretary of State for the Economy, João Correia Neves, who took this opportunity to speak directly with the professionals of the sector and listen to their concerns about the current challenges. It turned out to be a meeting with a positive balance for both parties.
The relevance of the exhibiting companies also served as a driver for the dynamism of visitors, who answered the call and wanted to witness up close the novelties and bets on display.
"The second and third day had a very interesting movement, which denotes the importance of this sector and the curiosity of professionals and not only in knowing them very closely," said José Frazão, CEO of Exposalão.
On the fourth and last day of the event is reserved an action promoted by ASSIMAGRA. The 'Practical Training Session: Verification of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in Work at Height and Rescue and Rescue Accessories' starts at 11 am.
In addition to the presence of national visitors and industry professionals, 'STONE' received some international buyers, who were very pleased with the solutions presented by Portuguese companies.
