SAGALEXPO wins over exhibitors and buyers and confirms new edition
The 4th edition of SAGALEXPO – Flavors of Portugal came to an end on a positive note, confirming its status as one of the main business promotion events in Portugal, with a strong impact on creating business opportunities for internationalization.
“After this edition, we can say that it is here to stay. The fourth year proved the maturity of the fair. In particular, the food and beverage sector gained more visibility. And we also won because we succeeded in a project that we fought so hard for,” said José Frazão, CEO of Exposalão, the event's promoter.
The presence of prominent institutional and political representatives, who recognized the role of the fair in strengthening the national economy, was imperative to the success of the event. Over the three days, hundreds of B2B meetings between Portuguese companies and foreign buyers reinforced the strategic nature of the event.
The success of this edition, with around 400 exhibiting companies and more than 1,150 invited international buyers, as well as its economic impact, guarantees the continuity of SAGALEXPO.
“In 2026, we will be holding the fifth edition. We want to grow by more than 10 percent, as already expressed by new customers, which means that in 2026 we will be back, exceeding 400 exhibitors.”
SAGALEXPO has established itself as a privileged exhibition for the food and beverage sector, focusing on domestic production and highlighting the authenticity of Portuguese products.
